My name is Matt Briggs;
Fascinated by flying since childhood, and now a qualified Airline Pilot with Instructor rating. I’ve been lucky enough to have been inspired & taught by some of most amazing Aviators/Instructors. Every day is a school day in flying; so with that in mind, I aspire to share the best in good airmanship - establishing Jetsim, a flight simulator experience in 2017, now based at The Future Skills Centre, Exeter Airport, Devon UK.
My first solo
My flying started with a private pilots licence at Exeter Airport in 1992, and then in 2004, I resigned from a marketing career to study at Oxford Aviation, two years later qualifying as a commercial airline pilot. After that progressing an ATR 42/72 type rating and then a single engine Flying Instructor - it was teaching others that showed me a whole new level of airmanship.
